The short version
When you click "Get the deal" and then buy something, the retailer may pay Frumgal a small commission. You pay the same price either way. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.

What commissions do not do
This is the part that matters, so it's worth being plain about it:
- They don't change your price. Ever. A commissioned link and a plain link cost you exactly the same.
- They don't decide what gets posted. Items are chosen because they're a genuinely good buy. Plenty of listings here earn nothing at all, and they run anyway.
- They don't buy placement. No retailer can pay to be featured on the homepage or ranked higher in a category.
How to tell
Assume any outbound link on Frumgal may be a commissioned link. Rather than marking some links and not others, the honest default is to tell you that all of them might be.
